What is LikeMine?
The LikeMine™ webapp is a service that helps you understand what kind of pregnancy outcomes women like you have experienced by comparing your information to millions of pregnancies in the US. It does not predict your specific outcome or indicate your individual risk of any specific event. If you have questions about any condition or outcome shown in your LikeMine™ report you should talk to your healthcare provider.
How does LikeMine work?
LikeMine collects information from you (such as your age, weight, height, education, race, and pregnancy and health history) and matches you to a group of women with similar characteristics. Then, it provides insights into pregnancy outcomes and complications within your LikeMine group.
What is my LikeMine group?
Your LikeMine group consists of women with similar health, demographic, and pregnancy characteristics as you. This allows us to provide personalized insights into the outcomes experienced by others like you.
How often can I use LikeMine?
You can use LikeMine as often as you’d like. As your pregnancy progresses, you may want to revisit your reports as new topics start becoming more important to you. We will also be frequently adding new reports and functionality so make sure to check regularly.
Is my personal data safe?
Yes, your personal data is safe. We follow industry-standard data privacy and security protocols to protect your information. Please refer to our https://www.likemine.com/privacy-notice for more information about how your data is managed.
Who is behind LikeMine?
LikeMine is developed by a team of healthcare professionals, data scientists, and technology experts with a mission to empower women with personalized pregnancy insights based on real-world data. We are part of Sera Prognostics, a leading proteomic and bioinformatics company dedicated to improving the lives of women and babies through precision biomarker-based tests designed to enhance pregnancy care.
Is LikeMine free?
We offer both free and paid reports. Everyone gets two free reports, your Complications Summary report plus another extra report that we pick especially for you based on your results. The full set of reports are available for a fee.
How do I contact customer support?
You can reach our customer support team by emailing support@likemine.com. We strive to respond to all inquiries within two business days.
What should I do if the app isn’t working?
If you experience any technical issues, you can try closing and re-opening your browser and logging in again. If the issue persists, please contact our support team at support@likemine.com.
At what stage of pregnancy can I use LikeMine?
LikeMine can be used before you get pregnant or during your first or second trimesters of pregnancy. Unfortunately, our reports aren't suitable for the last trimester of pregnancy at the moment, but we are working on releasing reports for the third trimester soon.
Is LikeMine right for me?
LikeMine is available for women between 18 and 45 years old, who have singleton pregnancies (not twins or triplets, for example) and will not or have not used fertility treatments for this specific pregnancy. These cutoffs are based on the availability of data for these types of pregnancies. We hope to release reports for these pregnancies soon.
What does it mean if I got a “You’re so unique” message?
If you get this message, it means that unfortunately, there were not enough women like you in our data sets to generate your report.
Can I use LikeMine if I am outside of the US?
Currently, LikeMine is only available for people who live in the US and all data and content is based on US pregnancies and medical standards. It is not meant to be used by people outside of the US.
How are the reports personalized to my pregnancy?
We use the information you provide during sign-up, including your demographic data, health history, and past pregnancy details, to tailor your reports. This means the insights you receive are specific to your unique pregnancy journey.
How are these reports created?
Our reports are based on data aggregated from a variety of trusted sources, including birth certificates from 99% of all pregnancies in the U.S., collected and aggregated by the CDC, along with additional reliable data sources. This means your insights are evidence-based and accurate.
Where does the data for the LikeMine reports come from?
All the insights in the app are based on public and proprietary data sets of millions of pregnancies, including CDC databases of all birth certificates issued in the United States between 2019 and 2022 to generate your personalized report. The educational content is all evidence-based, follows medical guidance from institutions like ACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) and SMFM (Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine), and has gone through a thorough medical review.
What do the percentages in my report mean?
The percentages in your report reflect the rate of different pregnancy outcomes for your group. For example, if 50% of your group experienced a C-section, that means 1 out of every 2 women in your group had a C-section in their pregnancy.
Why do some reports just show data for my state or the US as a whole and not my LikeMine group?
Some of the databases we use do not contain enough information for us to create a LikeMine group for those outcomes. We are working on expanding those to give you more personalized insights on those topics too.
How accurate are the reports?
Our reports are based on large datasets from real pregnancies and aim to give you very personalized insights based on your specific characteristics. That being said, every pregnancy is unique, and these reports are not a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider.
Is the content of these reports medically reviewed?
Yes, all content in our reports comes from evidence-based, trustworthy sources and has been reviewed by medical professionals so that it meets the highest standards of accuracy. However, we encourage you to discuss the findings with your care provider for personalized guidance.
Does the content in the report replace advice from my care provider?
No. The content in LikeMine is for information only and should not replace professional medical advice. Talk with a physician or other health care professional if you have any concerns or questions about your health. If you rely on the information provided by LikeMine, you do so solely at your own risk.
Who is the LikeMine™ platform intended for?

Whether you‘re considering getting pregnant soon or navigating your first and second trimesters, LikeMine™ reports provide evidence-based, personalized insights to help you better understand potential outcomes for pregnancies like yours.

LikeMine is a product to give women insights into their pregnancy by showing them what kinds of outcomes were seen in other women like them. All content is for information purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice.
